What is economic prejudice?

Economic prejudice can be defined as the struggle and resentment between the haves and the have-nots. As with all prejudice, economic prejudice goes both ways. Not only do the poor resent the rich and stereotype them as selfish and uncaring, but the rich often look down on the poor and stereotype them as lazy or worthless.
