Noise is any distortion factor that blocks,disrupts,or distorts the message sent to the receiver,interfering with the communication process.These distortion factors can range from emotional states or language differences to telephone static or an inaccessible e-mail system.
Information overload occurs when the volume of information a person receives exceeds his or her capacity to process it.
Some of the behaviors that can cause information overload for the receiver of your messages are listed below.
Presenting too much material;
Presenting information that is overly complex;
Presenting information too quickly;
Presenting at a level of difficulty that goes beyond the person's understanding;
Not giving the person sufficient time to process the information.
