Delaying marriage; don't feel the need to establish one's own home; enjoy the comforts of living with parents; economics: low wages,student loans,house prices,divorce,credit card debt,and job-jumping may make it harder for young adults to maintain the lifestyle they had with their parents.It's also no longer possible for many young adults at the lower end of the economic ladder to do as well as their parents with the same high school education.Many middle-class families are child-centered which means supporting their young adults while they seek post college degrees or find jobs they like rather than those that provide a living.The stigma of young adults living at home has faded making it more socially acceptable.
