Describe some benefits and/or costs of having children.

Benefits: feeling of completeness; children bring love and affection,joy,happiness,and fun; they create a sense of family; they bring fulfillment and a sense of satisfaction; children bring a new dimension to life which is more fulfilling than jobs,relationships with friends,and leisure activities; it's a pleasure to watch them grow.Costs: having and raising children is expensive,even more so if they are disabled or chronically ill; mothers may pay a "mommy tax" in that they do not get social security for work at home and they forgo educational opportunities that would help their economic status; parents experience stress,fatigue,and anxiety; interpersonal relationships may suffer as parents become more focused on children; mothers may feel stressed from juggling job and household responsibilities,while fathers,who often work longer hours,feel they may be missing out on the parent experience.
