When children are involved or in rare circumstances where the security of the nation is threatened, the court will hold an "in camera hearing" or simply prohibit publication of the evidence. This can be done in circumstances where to publish some evidence might prejudice another procedure. The ban on publication does not prohibit the public from attending, and so this method of control is more common.
