Define relativism.

Relativism is the claim that what is true for one person or one people might not be true for another person or another people (i.e., culture). At its most extreme, the claim is that every idea is as good as any other, something that even the most die-hard relativist cannot possibly take seriously (as attractive as it may be to unprepared or uninformed students).
