By utilizing a holistic perspective, anthropologists do not experience ethnocentrism in regard to other cultures.​

While a holistic perspective does help anthropologists to understand and appreciate other cultures, it does not completely eliminate the potential for ethnocentrism. Anthropologists, like everyone else, may still have their own biases and cultural assumptions that could influence their interpretation of other cultures. It is important for anthropologists to actively work to recognize and challenge their potential biases in order to approach the study of other cultures in a more objective and respectful way.
