Aggressive-rejected children have difficulty forming positive relationships with peers and often resort to behaviors such as bullying in an attempt to gain social status and control. This behavior can result in them becoming targets of bullying themselves, leading to the label of bully-victim. Research has shown that aggressive-rejected children are at the highest risk for becoming bully-victims compared to other groups of children.
